Celeste Fig

Some refer to this fig as the "Queen of the South" and the "Southern Sugar Fig."  It is a reliable and resilient fig that does well anywhere on the East Coast.  It's a must have for anyone in a humid climate as it is resistant to any splitting due to rainy and humid conditions.  It is so sweet, with tones of brown sugar and molasses, with a "figgy" flavor - if you will The Celeste fig produces a bountiful harvest of figs every August here in Coastal, North Carolina.
