Col de Dame Blanc Fig Tree

Col de Dame Blanc Figs and The other figs of the Balaeric Islands (Mallora, Menora, & Ibiza) are revered for their thick jammy texture and amazing berry flavors.  This fig is the poster child for how amazing a fig can taste.  Simply delicious.  They are a later ripening variety and do well in a container and if you are futher south (zone 8 and higher) they will grow for you in the ground.  It makes exceptional Adriatic colored figs with a bright green skin and a rich wine red interior that is simply specatular.
