When I first started researching figs to buy and propagate I came across this article and It sent me on my path looking for all figs that were Paradiso - I finally landed myself a tree in 2024 (12 years later!!!) and I was able to eat the fruit and confirm the variety.  I want to share it all with you and spread the love of this Paradiso variety growing unprotected in Philadelphia, PA zone 7a.  I think this will be a great option for nothern growers to enjoy a wonderful green fig with a rich red interior that is cold hardy and delicious and can share a moment where I read something that took me on my path to the world of figs over a decade ago.

This is a delicious adriatic type fig with syrupy sweet goodness of honey and strawberry notes with a green skin and deep red interior.  Enjoy and reach out with any questions.
